Photographic Voice Challenge
Emulating a Professional Photographer

Course Goals and Achievements
I took this course to learn something I don't do often. I had hoped to learn professional photography techniques, take pictures of new topics, and learn photography with different equipment. While I achieved two of these, I didn't take photos with a camera. I was more focused on accurately succeeding in the photo criteria without also having to learn how to use a camera at the same time. However, I still am looking to use a camera I found during the course, and I intend to practice what I've learned in this class with said camera.
Best Image and Why

I believe this is my best image because It's the one I put the most effort into. Compared to the others, which are quite similar to the photos they are attempting to emulate, this one was with a live subject, which I'm not used to. Although it was new to me, I think this was able to capture similar emotions and position in a similar setting.
Most challenging Aspects and Future Practices
The most challenging aspects were to force myself to remember that I didn't have to emulate the photo near perfect. I struggled to take photos that I believed would be similar to the photographer's while also not overthinking how the photo had to be. It did take me a bit to figure that out. In the future I should first practice to see if the photos will come out the way I want rather than assuming that they'll be accurate, and to practice with a DSLR camera to learn how to change shutter speeds for things like cars passing or lightning strikes.
